Haunted Objects

As it's the spooky season, I've written a short, spooky, tabletop RPG for 4-6 people to play in-person or online. It's designed to be a one-shot, so that people can play it as a party game if they want to.

The inspiration for the game was seeing those eBay shops selling objects that supposedly contain a ghost in them. Some of these items even come with a certificate of some kind. Who authenticates ghosts? I have no idea! Perhaps the certificate is just another item for buyers to display that lets a visitor know what they're looking at when they see the item in a display case. Otherwise it could be any old doll, and not just one inhabited by a spook.

There must be a market for these items, because there are plenty of them to be found for sale. I wondered what the buyers might want to get from their experience, and also what goes into selling a haunted object. This seemed like a great basis for telling short ghost stories, so I wrote this game for people who might enjoy dreaming those up together.
